Oncology Fundamentals Day 2025 (OFD 2025) is a one-day, CCCEP-accredited, learning event taking place virtually on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10:00 - 19:00 EDT. As a part of CAPhO's ongoing commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, OFD 2025 will feature learning materials offered in both English and French.

Program

The OFD 2025 program focuses on relevant and timely topics within oncology pharmacy and is geared towards pharmacists who provide cancer care as a portion of their practice, pharmacy technicians and assistants looking to enhance their core education, pharmacy students, new practitioners or health care professionals interested in foundational oncology education. The live virtual event will be accredited by the Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy, with accreditation specifics available in the coming months.

Registration

Registration fees are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD), exclude applicable GST/HST and are determined by when payment is received and not by the date of registration. Early Bird rates are available until Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 11:59pm PDT. As of Thursday, September 18, 2025 regular rates will apply. Pre-registrants who pay their registration fee after Thursday, September 18, 2025 will be charged the regular registration fees.

Accreditation

CCCEPThe Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy (CCCEP) is a national organization established to accredit continuing pharmacy education programs intended to be delivered to pharmacy professionals from more than one province or nationally. CCCEP accreditation is recognized by the pharmacy regulatory authorities in all provinces and territories of Canada.

Oncology Fundamentals Day 2025 sessions will be accredited by the CCCEP.

A letter of participation will be provided after the event and upon completion of the evaluation. Live attendance in the accredited sessions is required in order to receive the letter of participation. Please note that Sponsored Symposia will not be accredited.
