Indigenous Pharmacy Professionals of Canada (IPPC)

As of 2024, CAPhO is proud to be recognized as a Professional Organization Member of the Indigenous Pharmacy Professionals of Canada (IPPC). As a part of the Advocacy Committee portfolio, CAPhO will have the opportunity to draw on IPPC’s expertise in the IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity, and accesibility) work that CAPhO is doing, and other benefits including “collaboration on promotions, invitation to join their Annual updates: Indigenous pharmacy practice webinar, and discounts on consulting rates and management fees for pharmacy practice, policy review, program design or other projects and initiatives built around Indigenous health".

In it's effort to promote Indigeneous healthcare equity, CAPhO is pleased to offer members with a variety of Indigeneous health tools and resources.

Indigenous Health in Canada Tools and Resources

The IPPC is an Indigenous-led association that has been established to connect and support Indigenous pharmacy professionals and help all pharmacists provide better care to Indigenous patients by creating and promoting pharmacy practice models that respect the safety, equality, strengths, and teachings of the Indigenous Peoples of Canada.
