Education

The Canadian Association of Pharmacy in Oncology (CAPhO) is pleased to provide access to accredited and non-accredited online education programs that are directly related to the work of oncology pharmacists, technicians and pharmacy assistants.

CAPhO is dedicated to the development of educational materials to support and enhance education and training for all oncology pharmacy practitioners, which, in addition to the annual Conference, includes: 

• The Oncology Essentials Series, online education comprised of Safe Handling of Hazardous Drugs and Oncology Basics. 
   
• Oncology Fundamentals Day offers those new to oncology pharmacy an online, accredited, full day interactive conference environment. 
   
• The CAPhO Education Webinar Series presents one-hour online sessions on timely topics all year round.
   
• CAPhO’s Virtual Workshops are designed to be interactive, engaging, and focused on relevant topics impacting oncology pharmacy practice, and are not recorded.
   
• CAPhO Competencies for Oncology Pharmacists in Canada, in both English and French, provides oncology pharmacists in Canada with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to enhance the profession and future of cancer care within Canada.
