Presenting Author Registration
The presenting author of an accepted abstract MUST register for the Conference by Wednesday, February 24, 2027, or the abstract will automatically be withdrawn. The submitting author is responsible for notifying the presenting author of the registration deadline.
Poster Display Details
Poster Specifications
- All new posters are not to exceed 44 inches x 44 inches in dimension. There will be two posters per board surface. If your poster exceeds the size limit, it may be removed.
- Encore posters that exceed 44 inches x 44 inches size must be pre-approved by the Conference Organizers, and in which case, please email abstract@capho.org to advise of your poster size.
- All posters must be displayed on poster material. Sheets paper glued together, or the like will not be accepted.
- Materials must be readable from a distance of 3 feet or more.
- The font used must be a minimum of 20 points.
- Industry-sponsored posters must clearly be identified as such - please state on your poster "Sponsored by (Company name/s)".
- Optional: Include QR code for a 5 – 7-minute narrated presentation about your poster.
PDF Poster
An electronic version of the poster is required to be sent to abstract@capho.org by Wednesday, March 17, 2027 for pre-Conference judging and posting on the Conference app and online platform. All accepted posters will be available for viewing from April 22 to 25, 2027 and post-Conference for a limited time.
CAPhO Poster Awards
Posters will be judged virtually by the CAPhO Research Committee prior to the Conference.
In order to be eligible for one of four CAPhO Poster Awards in the categories outlined above, the submitting author must have paid their CAPhO membership fee by February 1, 2027. Encore posters, posters submitted by non-CAPhO members and company sponsored posters are not considered for the CAPhO Poster Awards.
Poster Award recipients will be announced prior to the Conference and are required to deliver a live 5-minute presentation at the CAPhO Poster Award Presentation Session, tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2027, from 14:30 to 15:30.
CAPhO Participants’ Choice Award
The CAPhO Participants’ Choice Award will go to the poster that receives the highest number of votes from participants during the Conference. There is no live presentation for this award.
