Reanne Booker

Reanne is an oncology and palliative care nurse practitioner with over 25 years' experience in cancer care. She obtained her BScN (2001) and MN (2007) from the University of Alberta and her PhD (2024) from the University of Victoria. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including the Alberta Blood and Marrow Transplant Program (2005-2015), the Calgary Zone palliative care consult team (2015-2020), and the Foothills Medical Centre ICU (2021-2022).
Reanne currently works with the multiple myeloma and palliative care teams at the Arthur JE Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Calgary. She also conducts eligibility assessments for the medical assistance in dying program. Reanne's clinical and research interests include symptom assessment/management, integrating palliative care in oncology, optimizing sexual health and intimacy after a cancer diagnosis, medical cannabis and cancer, and virtual cancer care.
