Marc Geirnaert is the Director of the Provincial Oncology Drug Program at CancerCare Manitoba since June 2014. He obtained his Bachelor of Sciences in Pharmacy from the University of Manitoba in 2002 and his Masters of Pharmacoeconomics in 2004. Marc is also a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP). Marc started his oncology pharmacy career in January 2003 as staff pharmacist working in various clinics such as lymphoproliferative disorders, bone marrow transplant, genitourinary malignancies and central nervous system tumors. Marc’s interests include implementation of new therapies, immunology and innovation of cancer treatments.
