Mario de Lemos is the Professional Practice Leader of the BC Cancer Provincial Pharmacy division in Vancouver, BC. Mario obtained his BSc(Pharm), MSc(Clin Pharm), and MSc(Oncol) from the United Kingdom, and completed his post-graduate PharmD at the University of British Columbia. His key practice areas are in the development of drug information resources and critical appraisal of evidence, with an interest in health services research. He has received research grants from the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP) and CAPhO. His projects have been recognized with five different categories of the CSHP national awards, and he has presented his research posters at conferences of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, ISOPP, CAPhO, and CSHP. He has published more than 30 MEDLINE indexed articles in a wide-ranging areas of oncology.
