Oncology Fundamentals Day 2026
Oncology Fundamentals Day 2026 (OFD 2026) is a one-day, CCCEP-accredited, learning event taking place virtually on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 11:00 - 18:00 ET. As a part of CAPhO's ongoing commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, OFD 2026 will feature learning materials offered in both English and French.
Program
The OFD 2026 program focuses on relevant and timely topics within oncology pharmacy and is geared towards pharmacists who provide cancer care as a portion of their practice, pharmacy technicians and assistants looking to enhance their core education, pharmacy students, new practitioners or health care professionals interested in foundational oncology education. The live virtual event will be accredited by the Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy, with accreditation specifics available in the coming months.

Registration
Registration fees are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD), exclude applicable GST/HST and are determined by when payment is received and not by the date of registration. Early Bird rates are available until Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 11:59 ET. As of Friday, September 18, 2026 regular rates will apply. Pre-registrants who pay their registration fee after Thursday, September 17, 2026 will be charged the regular registration fees.

Accreditation
The Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy (CCCEP) is a national organization established to accredit continuing pharmacy education programs intended to be delivered to pharmacy professionals from more than one province or nationally. CCCEP accreditation is recognized by the pharmacy regulatory authorities in all provinces and territories of Canada.
Oncology Fundamentals Day 2026 sessions will be accredited by the CCCEP with more information to come once the program is confirmed. For reference, OFD 2025 was accredited for 5.25 CEUs.
