Laura Minard is the Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator for Oncology and Hematology with Nova Scotia Health in Halifax. Laura obtained her BSc from Dalhousie University followed by a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Alberta. She then pursued pharmacy training (BSc Pharm) at Dalhousie University and completed an Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. She has worked with patients in both inpatient and ambulatory oncology settings, and has developed and implemented a variety of pharmacist-led clinics. Laura is the CAPhO Research Chair. Her research interests include pharmacist prescribing, optimizing patient education of oncology medications and management of toxicities associated with anticancer therapies.
