CAPhO Conference 2023 Welcome Message

Along with the 2023 Planning Committee, we would like to welcome you to the CAPhO Annual Conference in Toronto from April 13th to April 16th, 2023. We are looking forward to greet many members in Toronto as we assemble and meet for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. However, we are pleased to still be able to offer virtual meetings with this Conference for those of you that may not be able to attend in person.

Our theme for this CAPhO 2023 is “Innovation and Collaboration:  Looking forward”. The pandemic has brought on many changes to the practice of Oncology Pharmacy. With resourcefulness, innovation and diligence, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians have adapted to continue to provide the highest quality of care to our Cancer Patients.

We have continued to meet challenges and have excelled despite many obstacles with one goal in mind: the best care for our patients. As we meet in person, let us share these learnings so that Oncology Pharmacy may continuously evolve and improve. From the social isolation of the last 3 years, let us come together and build a stronger practice and a stronger future. We should all be very proud of where we are today and excited about we are headed.

We are looking forward to see many of you here in Toronto. Throughout the pandemic, your knowledge, empathy and vision have paved the way for the future. We are excited to share many innovations that will impact our practice going forward and hope that with us assembling together in person we may stay engaged and continue to shape a strong future for Oncology Pharmacy.
