Research grants

Research Grants offered by the Canadian Association of Pharmacy in Oncology (CAPhO) support research in the basic pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacy or any area of investigation relevant to oncology pharmacy practice in Canada. 

Research Grants have one application cycle per year. The call for the Research Letter of Intent (LOI) is open June 2026 to September 7, and the full Research Grant application window is open until Monday, October 26, 2026.

The Research Grant application process involves a three-step process:

  1. Letter of intent submission

  2. Full application submission

  3. Completion of the required checklist

Research Grant Details

Research Grants support research in the basic pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacy or any area of investigation relevant to oncology pharmacy practice in Canada. The number of grants and funds awarded will be at the discretion of the Research Committee. There is one application cycle per year. The call for the Research Letter of Intent (LOI) is open from early August to early September and the Research Grant Application is open from late September to late October.
