CAPhO Conference 2020 Rescheduled

The Canadian Association of Pharmacy in Oncology’s (CAPhO) first priority is for the safety and wellbeing of our members, event registrants, presenters, exhibitors, sponsors and suppliers. It is for this reason, and given the directives of Health Authorities and Government bodies, that the CAPhO Board of Directors has made the decision to reschedule this year’s CAPhO Conference due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Conference was scheduled to be held on April 2 – 5, 2020 at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto. We are looking to reschedule the 2020 Conference at the same venue in 2023 and will announce the dates and location for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 Conferences shortly.
The CAPhO Association Management Office will provide full refunds as quickly as possible, using the same payment method initially used. The refund process may take four to six weeks.

Note: Reminder that travel and hotel bookings made for the 2020 Conference are your responsibility to cancel.

The CAPhO Board appreciates the patience and understanding of all involved while we evaluated and monitored the situation closely these past few weeks in the hopes that we would be able to hold the Conference, knowing how important our annual gathering is to the field of oncology pharmacy in Canada and ultimately the patients we serve.

Thank you to the 2020 Conference Planning Committee for assembling a stellar program. We will explore ways to deliver some of that educational material in various methods over the coming months.

Please look for further communications and updates via email, on the CAPhO website, and through social media.

We thank you all for your continued support and commitment, and look forward to seeing you at the CAPhO Conference 2021.

Philip Shaheen
CAPhO President
