Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) in Oncology Pharmacy Virtual Workshop

The IDEA Virtual Workshop brought together healthcare professionals dedicated to improving inclusion, diversity, equity, and access in the field of oncology pharmacy. Participants learned how to foster an environment of inclusivity, diversity, equity, and accessibility within their practice setting while integrating important considerations for LGBTQIA2S+ persons into everyday practice.

Oral Chemotherapy Management (OCM) Workshop

The OCM workshop, sponsored by Amgen, took place at the CAPhO Hybrid Conference 2024 and provided participants with pre-workshop resources and cases related to toxicities associated with three classes of oral anti-cancer agents.

Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT 101) Workshop

The workshop, sponsored by Jazz Pharmaceuticals, provide a foundational understanding of the stem cell transplant and cellular therapy process. The in-person workshop will then build on this knowledge as facilitators guide you through managing treatment complications with the use of interactive patient cases. 

Drug Interaction Phase 3 Workshop

In small groups, participants worked through drug interaction cases with the support of expert facilitators. The cases were typical of clinically relevant drug interactions.

Self Leadership for Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners Workshop 

This is an interactive workshop that participants are encouraged to actively participate and engage in a conversation about self-leadership in pharmacy with facilitator Maria Anwar.
