Education & Resources

Oncology pharmacists, technicians and pharmacy assistants know to look to the Canadian Association of Pharmacy in Oncology (CAPhO) as their source of education and resources.

CAPhO members are continually updating the Continuing Education Listing with free online courses so that members are at the forefront of their field and can easily obtain the required continuing education credits towards certification.

CAPhO members are intricately involved in creating their own OnLine Education Programs to ensure that all professions related to oncology pharmacy are educated and trained. Our newest initiative, Oncology Basics, is now online!

The Oncology Pharmacy Resource Library and Links contain not only recommended print materials and links to relevant websites, but also past National Oncology Pharmacy Symposium (NOPS) presentations that highlight research findings and best practice. (Please note that the NOPS Presentations are not edited.)

As a resource that represents oncology pharmacy, CAPhO strives to understand the work and educational needs of professionals who provide care to those with cancer. One way to do this is through surveys.
